A new guide to the 100 best snorkel sites around the UK goes on sale from 1st May, written by husband-and-wife team, Gordon and Emma Taylor.
Snorkelling Britain: 100 marine adventures is published by Wild Things Publishing in readiness for the new snorkelling season this spring.
As scuba and snorkelling instructors and BSAC members themselves, Emma and Gordon have catalogued Britain’s best snorkelling spots, focusing on those suitable for everyone, from beginners and families to avid sea swimmers and seasoned explorers.
Many of the pictures were taken by the authors, and all showcase the best of the UK underwater world in glorious technicolour.

Whether you have your sights set on the sheltered waters of Devon’s Babbacombe Bay, the pristine marine nature reserve of Skomer, in Pembrokeshire, or the Churchill Barrier, in Orkney, where a sunken WWII shipwreck teems with sea life, this book promises to reveal a world of wonder around and below the water.
Snorkelling Britain also covers practicalities such as equipment, safety, habitat protection, navigation and learning how to spot and identify species.

The book can be purchased via the website snorkelology.co.uk with a 15% discount on orders placed in May using the discount code 'springsnorkel'.
A feature on the book will appear in the June 2025 issue of SCUBA Magazine, which is published in mid-May.
