Five new Regional Coaches have been welcomed into the BSAC fold, bringing a host of skills, experience and enthusiasm to a key role in the club support and diver training network.
Providing diving advice and support to clubs and members across the country, the BSAC Regional Team also offers regional training and support opportunities that may not be available through all BSAC clubs.
The new faces on the Regional Coaching team are:
- Eastern: Lisa Shafe, who replaces outgoing Regional Coach Mark Lovesey
- East Midlands: Linda Ritson takes over from Geoff Bacon
- South West: Kevin Ford steps in for outgoing coach, Allen Murray
- Wales: Deputy Coach Hywel Dyer steps up for Dai Atkins, who is now BSAC’s National Diving Officer
- Yorkshire: John Barton succeeds retiring coach, Neil Culver.
Coaching Coordinator Adrian Collier said he was looking forward to working with the new additions to the Regional team.
I’d like to thank all the outgoing Regional Coaches who have worked so tirelessly to support the clubs within their regions. Our new Coaches will build on this work and I’d like to welcome them to the team.
