#IDiveBecause winners announced

After a month of entries and an additional week for voting, the winners have been finalised for BSAC's New Year photo competition.

The #IDiveBecause competition, launched on Boxing Day, celebrated all the reasons scuba divers and snorkellers love the sport. Bringing together people from the wider diving community, we received a total of 249 entries, and it has been wonderful to see all your inspiring, funny and wonderful entries come in over the last month.

Thank you so much to everyone who entered, voted or encouraged others to do so. We would also like to give a huge thank you to AP Diving for supporting the competition and donating first prize.

And the winner is...

With a whopping 896 votes is Kev Bryant. Congratulations!
