The Ricoh Arena near Coventry will host GO Diving – a brand-new interactive trade and consumer dive show from 22- 24 February 2019.
Go Diving is aimed at both existing divers and those new to the sport, and offers a host of experiences, challenges and activities to inspire, educate and entertain.
There will be six stages and 60 speakers at Go Diving – a Main Stage hosted by BBC TV stars Andy Torbet and Miranda Krestovnikoff, that will be home to Mehgan Heaney-Grier, Jill Heinerth, Umberto Pelizzari, Monty Halls and Linden Wolbert, and then stages dedicated to technical diving, freediving, underwater photography and travel.
There is also the Inspiration Stage where those new to diving can find out more about our awesome sport, and a ‘next generation’ area for younger divers. Plus, there will be an array of interactive exhibits, including a 30-metre-long caving experience, two try dive pools, a timed S-drill challenge, a navigation trail and even a virtual reality shark dive with Discovery Channel.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get involved in a series of master classes for freediving, underwater photography and underwater videography, and they can lust over the latest shiny kit, check out some new holiday destinations, plan their next dive course or maybe pick up a new bit of equipment as they explore the industry stands filling the 6,000m2 venue.
The trade day, which is only open to people within the diving industry, runs from 12 noon to 6pm on Friday 22 February, and then the consumer days (Saturday 23 February and Sunday 24 February) run from 10am to 6pm.
