BSAC is its volunteers and every year we aim to recognise the invaluable contribution our members make to the organisation.
We are delighted to announce some more of the 2018 BSAC award winners, as presented at EUROTEK – our congratulations go to you all.
There will be a full report and pictures in the February issue of SCUBA magazine (out from 14th January 2019).
But in the meantime, here are some of our well-deserving 2018 winners:
COLLINS & CHAMBERS OWI AWARD – Awarded to Joseph Hadden, the most meritorious candidate on the Open Water Instructor course. Thank you to David George for presenting.
ANALOX AI AWARD – Awarded to Sam Clarke, the most meritorious candidate on the Advanced Instructor course. Thank you to Analox Ltd for sponsoring this award and to David George for presenting.
FIRST CLASS DIVER – Awarded to the successful 2018 candidates - Graeme Crouch, Mark Brabon, Sam Clarke and Kevin Holmes. First Class Diver Awards presented by FCD Chief Examiner Rob Sewell.
AP DIVING AWARD – Awarded to Graeme Crouch, the candidate who proved to have the most meritorious performance in the BSAC First Class Diver examination. Thank you to AP Diving for sponsoring this award and to Rob Sewell and AP Diving’s Martin Parker for presenting.
NATIONAL INSTRUCTOR – awarded to the successful 2018 candidates - Mike Baker, Stephen Batt and Mark Paisey. They met the criteria for BSAC’s highest instructional qualification. National Instructor Awards presented by David Wakelam.
WEEZLE AWARD – Awarded to Mike Baker, who performed most meritoriously in the National Instructor exam. Thank you to Weezle Diving Services Ltd for sponsoring this award and to Dave Wakelam (BSAC National Instructor Chief Examiner) and Weezle’s Paul Childs for presenting.
WILKINSON SWORD – awarded annually to the candidate who proves to have the most meritoriously performance in the BSAC nationally assessed examination. "For unique underwater endeavour". This year that candidate was Graeme Crouch. Thank you to Dai Atkins (National Diving Officer) for presenting.
Aqua Lung Award - This award is presented to the BSAC member who goes that extra mile in the promotion of BSAC’s aims and objectives. This year that was Rob Jackson. Many thanks to Aqua Lung UK for sponsoring this award and to Aqua Lung UK’s James Sanderson for presenting.
THANK YOU AWARD – presented to David George for his service as Open Water Instructor Chief Examiner.
