BSAC Scotland is offering trainees the opportunity to become Ocean Divers after three days of open water training in the Sound of Mull, in March 2025 from the liveaboard M/Y Clasina.
This exciting new approach to intensive training will give attendees some memorable diving experiences in a beautiful location, and help support them to become Ocean Divers in just a matter of days.
What does the course offer?
For this course all trainees will start at Ocean Diver Open Water lesson 1, and hopefully progress to fully qualified Ocean Divers by the end of the three-day training.
The dives will be a combination of shore and RIB dives, giving trainee Ocean Divers great experiences in sea diving while they complete their open water training.
Trainees will be based aboard popular UK liveaboard Clasina, which is a steel hulled trawler newly converted with an upgraded level of comfort and more modern facilities. Clasina will operate as a floating hotel for the three days offering bed and board to all divers and instructors, as well as gas fills.

Pre-requisites:
- All trainees must have completed all Ocean Diver Theory and Sheltered Water lessons
- Own or hired drysuit for the event

There are currently three sets of dates available, with a maximum of eight places available for each Ocean Diver training session. Each booking will be for the full three days offered, unfortunately we cannot split up over different days.
