The candidates for the available council positions in this year’s BSAC Election have just been announced.
The 2026 election will see two officer positions – BSAC Vice-Chair and Honorary Secretary - as well as three ordinary Council Member posts become available. Originally only two ordinary Council Member positions were available, but due to a Director resigning from Council, another position is now available.
The call to stand for BSAC Council drew a strong response, with nine members now standing in the 2026 election. BSAC members will be able to vote for the candidates from 1 May.
