Moving to your next BSAC eLearning course has never been easier...
If you have done previous eLearning with us then you will know all about our eLearning system, but for those that are new here, eLearning is easy to use and flexible in terms of when and where you can do the training. It can fit in and around your life.
So what do I get with eLearning?
- Get your theory training completed
- Downloadable student guide and qualification record page
- All the materials are in digital format
All eLearning is taught using a student guide flipbook which consists of text, videos, and PowerPoint presentations with voiceovers.
At the end of each module, there are quizzes that need to be completed and passed. If the student passes each module with four out of five correct answers, the module will be signed off and they will be able to download a theory certificate for that module.
Please note: to complete your qualification, you may need to also do sheltered water, open water and dry practical sessions. These practical modules are not included in the eLearning prices and can be arranged later with a BSAC club or centre.

Medical fitness to dive or snorkel
In order to learn to dive or snorkel, you must be declared as medically fit to do so. This is done through a self-certification form or a snorkel self-certifcation form which can be downloaded online. If you select yes to any of the questions in the form, you will need to contact a UKDMC medical referee to confirm you are fit to dive.
You do not need to complete a medical to begin BSAC eLearning, however, BSAC is not liable if you complete training and then declared medically unfit to dive.
