St Helens Underwater Group have been around since 1965, training members
to dive and enjoy the delights of the undersea world, seeing sights available only
to Divers, for example, Marine life, Exploring Shipwrecks, and Photography,
or with no aim at all, other than to enjoy being away and part of the team.
We train at Queens Park Leisure Centre, St Helen's, every Wednesday night,
8:30pm to 9:30pm, We are a members club having qualified British Sub Aqua
Club instructors to train you to scuba dive safely, all practical and theory
lessons are included in membership.
There is the opportunity to have a try dive before joining, a 1 hour try dive
session at £ 30.00 this is deducted from your membership if you decide to join.
We are also a member of the British Sub Aqua Club, which has been
recognised since 1954 by the sports council as the national governing body
of recreational diving in the United Kingdom.
Come along any Wednesday evening 8:30 to 9:30 and speak to our Diving
Officer, who will explain the training with you, or you could book a try dive.
