TWe are a strong and active club, we meet every Wednesday for training or swimming at the Dunes Splashworld in Southport from 7pm for 1 hour, before going to our local cricket club for a drink and a short meeting, which we call a “shout”.
At the “shout” we discuss who’s been diving, whos’ going diving any training happening, trips planned or social events. It’s a great way to meet and interact with members and get to know us.
Most weeks members are out diving either in the local quarries (we have 2 on our door step) or trips to N Wales, the Lake District, or further afield such as Oban, Eyemouth. We dive every corner of the UK and arrange at least 1 trip abroad, Egypt, Maldives, Canary Islands.
We have a lot of our own equipment, a very nice 6 ms Rib, a new compressor for cylinder filling. We have divers from teenage to their 70’s. We encourage all types of diving and interests, whether its wreck diving or marine life.
