Following the Election 2024 BSAC has welcomed the newly elected National Diving Officer, Sophie Rennie and two Council Members, Catherine Haworth and Dai Atkins who will take up their posts after the AGM on 11 May.

This year’s election also saw one post unopposed, with Richard Pettifer elected as Honorary Treasurer.

BSAC would like to congratulate the successful candidates. We would also like to thank:

  • Retiring Council members Janos Suto (retiring Treasurer), David Brander, Paul Tarn and Geoff Duggan

The newly elected Council members will officially take up their roles following the 70th BSAC Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held via webinar on Saturday 11 May at 10am.

70th BSAC Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Following the success of last year’s ‘virtual AGM’, the 2024 AGM will also be held online, and all members are invited to attend. Use this form to register for the AGM.

Voting on resolutions

Voting for the election has now closed, however, you still have until Thursday 9th May at 10:00 to vote on the resolutions which are:

  1. To authorise the BSAC Council to appoint and set the remuneration of the auditors to hold office from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting until the conclusion of the next general meeting of the Company at which the Company’s annual accounts and reports are laid before the meeting
  2. The articles of association of the Company appearing on the Company’s Website via the following link: www.bsac.com/proposedarticles and headed “BSAC Articles of Association May 2024 (For AGM Approval)” be adopted as the new articles of association of the Company in substitution for, and to the exclusion of, the existing articles of association of the Company titled “BSAC Articles of Association May 2023”.
