Rhyl Sub-Aqua Club was founded in 1973 and currently has around 24 members aged between 16 to 70. We have members with disabilities and some with special educational needs. The Club meets every Wednesday at Rhyl Leisure Centre to use the swimming pool and lecture facilities, in order to facilitate skills training for members new and old. We also organise dives for members in the sea and lakes etc.
The Club is self-funded by subscriptions of £15 per month from each member (£7.50 for under 16’s), which helps to pay for the use of the swimming pool and to maintain equipment etc. All instructors at the Club are members and give their time to the Club without charge.
